Trailer

Up till now, Burt and Verona — both of them in their thirties — have been living carefree lives, ignoring the lack of stabilisation and a flat with a cardboard window. However, the moment of disillusion comes, when it turns out they will have a baby. The return to reality is even more drastic, as the future grandparents intend to keep their distance of thousands of kilometres. Burt and Verona are left to their own resources and decide to set off for a crazy journey through America, trying to find their own place and way of life.

Away We Go is an intelligent and disarmingly optimistic comedy about love, trying to send a message that life together does not have to be banal — even if the starting point is a slip-up.
