Helmut is celebrating his 60th birthday. Actually, he is 57. His wife, Gertrud, miscalculated. While the facade of his narrow-minded domesticity is crumbling, old friends pass by, facing Helmut with his past ― a bizarre declaration of love to transience.

Nicolas Steiner was born in 1984 in a small town in the Swiss Alps. Since October 2007 he has been studying directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg in Ludwigsburg (Germany).
