Santa Claus Conquers the Martians

Święty Mikołaj podbija Marsjan · dir. Nicholas Webster
USA 1964, 81’

This film evokes the golden years of American television. It was created to cater for the needs of Christmas schedule. Today it is considered one of the worst films in the history of cinema. Santa Claus is kidnapped in order to organize Christmas for Martian children. He is accompanied by two Earth children. The whole three will have to face a dangerous robot made of cardboard and cellophane — this is the plot of this bizarre production. In the film Christmas songs are performed by a rock band Sloppy Seconds.
