This year marks the 30th anniversary of the première of the timeless classic film directed by Richard Linklater at Sundance Film Festival. Feel invited to celebrate this unique occasion at the 23rd edition of the BellaTOFIFEST International Film Festival and see ‘Before Sunrise’ on the big screen!

Along with the entire film trilogy created by Richard Linklater, the film ‘Before Sunrise’ is considered to be one of the most beautiful love stories in the history of cinema. The two qualities that make the film particularly ravishing are the Vienna sceneries and above all the dialogues. The two main protagonists: Celine, a woman from France (played by Julie Delpy), and Jesse (played by Ethan Hawke), an American, can easily switch from a conversation about trivialities to profound discussions about family issues, their past, emotions and fears, being unflinchingly honest about all subjects.

Celine and Jesse meet on a train, where a seemingly casual conversation in a restaurant car is the beginning of a very unique relationship. Both of them get off in Vienna. They barely notice the city itself and its charms, too preoccupied with their conversations and the affection that blossoming between them. What is it each of them really desires, though? And what will happen, when the night is over?
